I was good yesterday. Went down to Calgary because it's school holidays this week and my youngest needed highway driving experience.

Was really good. Never stopped at the Body Shop despite it being bigger than my local one and having signs with the handsoaps onsale (2/$12).

Dithered in Winners over some Wella Shampoo (it's hard to get here) but decided $7.99 wasn't that reduced.

Made it past Bath and Body Works! Close call they had an offer for a free jute tote bag.

Feeling virtous indeed, I fell just before coming home and bought a Fossil Messanger Bag and decided to go to Vegas next month with a friend.

So cash out, yes, Cosmetics in NONE

Hi all, hope you are enjoying the sunshine!

I'm sneaking back in just before the end of the month - I have been naughtily awol this month, and have to say I have fallen off the bandwagon massively! :o

    So far this month I have bought;
    Clarins Moisturising serum (bi-phase something)
Clarins Moisturiser (cooling gel or something!)
A million sample sizes from clarins - cleanser, toner, vrious eye creams and masks, lip gloss, foundation, amongst other things!
    Maybelline Matte Mousse x 2
    Loreal Million lashes mascara
    Neutrogena Visibly clear grapefruit wash
Neutrogena Visibly clear grapefruit cream wash

And that's what I can remember...

In my defence it's been a slightly stressful month. I got a new job :jat the start of the month... and have still not signed a contract, first because HR were incredibly slow, and then because my current manager is being awkward (I'm moving to a new, unrelated job in the same company) and they think that they can force me to stay in my current role... am very, very :mad::mad: and waiting on HR to sort out educating them as to why my notice, as per my contract, is legally binding... but HR don't seem to be doing this... so am in a career related limbo.:(

Never mind, could have been worse - I bought the 2 Nuetrogena face washes today on offer (£5 for 2) because it was either that or I was going to cave and buy 3 massive Elemis cleansers while they were on 3 for 2 and spend £75... granted it'd have lasted me a couple of years, but as much as I love my Elemis cleanser I think there surely should be something much cheaper that is as good! :D

I did try the sample Clarins cleanser and toner along with my new moisturisers, but my face felt awfully sticky and started to break out... immediately stopped and used Elemis cleanser with new moisturisers and much better!

Am hoping the sun will continue so I can get a tan and not rely on wearing foundation so much! :rotfl:

Hello my lovelies. I have a horrendous sore throat. Everytime I swallow, it feels like I'm swallowing razorblades! Think DH has definitely given me his cold (although he insists that I gave it to him lol).

    Hope everyone is okay. :)

Well if I didn't know better (last nights 'cheapsmells incident) I would have said I was 'cured' today.

Went into town, walked past TBS - did not go in, even tho there was a stash of 'stuff' with a big 50% off sign above it. Then walked past Debs - big beauty promo in the window - resisted again.

At this point I was feeling quite superior and decided to 'test' myself by walking thro Boots - did not even stop to look at anything, head down and marched on.

Wow I feel so proud of myself after my little blip last night :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mingle - out of curiosity, why did you dislike the Lush Ice Blue soap? I've got some on the go in the kitchen at the moment and really like it - it has a lovely minty scent. Sadly discontinued now though :(

I personally found it really drying :( it caused my skin to peel off
