UU Mitchum deo spray WBA as HG onto another from the stash!
UU John Frieda blonde hairspray WNBA it's nothing special but did the job.0 -
UU:
Lavera hand cream mini - this is my HG, i love this stuff and its cheap as chips for the full size one :j0 -
kiplingmonkey wrote: »Oh how I laughed when I read this :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Mr KM has no idea either - when he looks at my Radley and kipling bag stash he often comments how much it must be worth when I have paid about £50 a bag :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:or should that be :eek::eek: when I think about how much I actually have spent.
Anyway, just as well they have no idea - bless. This is the man who says 'Don't spend anything' when I go to Bicester to meet my BFF and once famously told me 'don't eat anything' when I was going to a BBC Good Food Exhibition. Doh!
Anyway, am keeping the UU momentum going:
Elemis soothing apricot toner - WBA - love the smell of this and find it really soothing. What does annoy me about Elemis toners though is the silly spray dispenser. Would much rather have the Liz Earle Instant Boost twist top method of delivery - or is that just me? Anyway, am prepared to put up with it as being the control freak that I am, I do like my cleanser and toner to match (or is that just me again?).
Evilsquid - hope you find something soon. Everything crossed for you. I like the stash photos - wouldn't even dare to lay mine out - first of all I would need to get the crates out of the wardrobe (from behind the handbag stash) and then I would need to empty the drawers in the spare room
Yeh sounds like MrM. Should have seen him totting up the "value" of my nail lacquer stash when I told him I had 95 bottles. All that money "wasted" poor foolish man!
Wouldn't mind but he's the one who buys me handbags so it's his fault that there is that obsession going on now.
re: the Elemis toner. I actually prefer spray bottle and decant whatever I'm using into a 30ml LE spritzer bottle. I feel like it lasts longer that way - especially as Emma shares this with me! And, er, I don't mind mixing and matching them either. Although saying that I did notice a difference when I used the Elemis cleanser/toner together. I think I am still a bit mean when it comes to toner and can't stand parting with too much cash for something that, to me, doesn't seem to do much.
My good wishes to Evilsquid as well though I know what you're up against. I have worked in Law for 25 years (secretarial level) and was made redundant in 2008. At that point of the recession I was working in conveyancing so it's not surprising I lost my job but it seemed like the industry collapsed! I could not get work anywhere else and spent 3 years temping in the public sector. I've started back in conveyancing at the beginning of this year (got job through an old contact). I remember years ago people used to say that legal people would never be out of jobs but how untrue is that? Keep plugging away Evilsquid. What specialism are you looking at?Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Aussie Long Hair 3 min Wonder - WBA, Love the stuff....has lasted for ages. Makes my hair so very very softand smells good enough to eat haha

3 OUTS compensated by 3INS:-
OUT: L'Oreal eye make up remover. Not a UU. Emma in her wisdom (13 years - knows it all) filled my spritz bottle containing about a week's worth of this product with water. Ladies, it doesn't work in it's diluted form!
Clinique Moisture Surge WNBA even as a freebie - I've waxed lyrical about this already. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I want consistency these days.
Bath and Body Works White Citrus body scrub - Can't buy again as it's only available in the US. It was lovely but not a wonder product so I don't feel so bad that it's finished.
INS:-
Soap and Glory Sugar Crush - to replace the White Citrus above. My absolute favourite body scrub. I do have another body scrub on the go but it's floral fragranced rather than fresh so I did need this one.
2 x L'Oreal Eye Make Up Remover. - took advantage of the 3 for 2 at Boots.
All products bought with AP.
I looked at Boots.com at first re: the 3 for 2 and theirs is different (of course) as it included 17 products. My initial intention was to go and get the body scrub, eye make up remover and a 17 nail magnetic nail polish for Emma. Still treated her to that so only "spent" £5.99 in Boots.
But now I have one of those vouchers languishing in my bag. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

sunshineyday wrote: »At last a UU, everything seems to be lasting forever at the moment - I know this makes them more mse, but it also makes them pretty boring too.
anyway - UU Clinique facial soap - I used to love using this but now find it too harsh so probably wnba.
also I started to use the S&G puff from one of their gift sets today, I heard a pop and watched as the whole thing unravelled and my shower was a mass of pink streamers, not impressed at all.
happy pampering, xo
Ugh to the shower puff - how messy to have to pick it up and get it thrown away too - there must have been water and suds everywhere! On the Clinique facial soap, did you know there is a "gentle" version of this too? I can't use the standard one, but the gentle one is just fine for me.
2 splutterers and 2 UU's for me to report:
Spluttering: John Frieda Brunette Conditioner and S&G Clean on Me shower cream.
UU'd: Mitchum Deodorant WIBA? HG product so already have!
John Frieda Simply Sleek balm WIBA? Yes, probably. I like this - it does seem to make my hair straighten easier, and to lovely shiny finish. I had one last one in the stash though so have gone onto that for now. it lasts forever so won't buy for a good while.
Interested about the comment above about Daily Smooth body butter - I'm using this at the moment and although the thickness of the cream in the tube is an issue, I do like the cream. Soaks in well on me too, so it might well be that your skin just needs something lighter? I do wishj they'd put this in a pot, though!
*edit* Forgot to say - three small IN's too - a travel size and 2 sachets of conditioner, courtesy of Mum.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
