No buying unnecessary toiletries in March - Challenge

This might give some of you QVC fans a laugh. For a while I've been reading posts about Laura Geller "spackle" and I've thought, surely they mean "sparkle" and there has been a spelling malfunction? When I saw the same thing repeated on posts by several different posters, all of whom I've noted have good spelling and grammar, I googled it and found that it is indeed called spackle. Oops. It looks rather good actually, but resisted buying it!
Hi Helen,
Yes it's called spackle which in America is the name of polyfilla! I guess you had cottoned onto that. lol. I use it and I much prefer it to Smashbox primer as it feels lighter on my skin.
Am quite pleased because I think I've managed to sell off most of the LG TSV that I bought via ST.com. Don't think I'm allowed to advertise on here and I don't want to enable anyone but just in case anyone only wanted one or two pieces feel free to PM me.
Have just repainted my nails in OPI Aphrodites Pink Nightie. Has anyone seen the new soft shades that have just been released by OPI? One of them is calling me! See what I'm like a bit of money made back and it burns a hole in my pocket.
We went shopping last night and Emma bought my Mother's Day gift - a new bottle of Elemis Balancing Cleanser. I will make myself use up the rest of the Try-Enzyme, Balancing Cleanser and Melting Gel Cleanser that I have opened (in the case of the first two - using one day and the other at night) and in my stash in the last case before I open it.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Evilsquid, are you an organising junkie?
I guess if the bag encouraged you to keep your stash streamlined to fit into it then it would be well worth the investment.
:TJustified! I'm so MSE :money:
I broke my no spend MarchI'm not getting on with the Sr Hauschka Rse moisturier, I think it's just to heavy to use day and night, even on my dry skin so I picked up and Avene anti redness moisturiser.
I was also low in Cleanser so I got the Sanctuary hot cloth one which looks fairly natural and Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on so I got some Palmers body oil too.
and two Naked Showergels. All needed so not so bad really.
Loved this months Amarya, although the last thing I needed was more shampoo or lipbalm, so I have those INS too
I think i can probably get through the rest of the month without spending now :A0 -
I have an out, i have decided to TA - Quickies Eye Makeup Remover Pads. They are useless just leave my eyes really greasy and don't seem to remove much eye Makeup.
I tried the John Masters Shampoo from the Amarya box this morning ( even though i already had some other stuff open) hair i lovely and shiny and scalp seems fine.0 -

Oh yeah, meant to say, apparently Bicester village near Oxford is a fantastic outlet place. I have never been, although it is not for the want of trying.
I like Bicester - they have a L'Occitane store, a Molton Brown Store, a Cosmetics Co Store, plus a Kipling store
Soime INs from my Amarya Beauty box - my shampoo seems to be a different variety to everyone else's but still John Masters and still £16:
John Masters Organics evening primrose shampoo for dry hair
John Masters Organics lip calm
Ren bio retinoid concentrate 2ml
Very exciting and now can't wait for next month.0 -
Uus to report:
Regular products I've used up and replaced:
Aqueous Cream
Rosewater
Home made shea butter mixture
African Pride Braid Sheen Spray
New products tested and trialled:
Bodyshop Shea butter body Scrub: WIBA? Quite nice, grains are large enough to be effective without feeling too harsh without scrubbing. Again with all bodyshop products I buy, this was on offer so I have another 3 to get through.
New products bought:
Olive Oil Moisturising growth lotion (hair product)
2 True Colour Drench Lip Gloss
NYC Nail polish
The last two products were bought as birthday treat for myself for the princely sum of £4 :-)0 -

Hi all.
UU to report:
Sample packet of Simple quick fix wipes- WIBA? Nice enough, but pricey, I feel a wipe is a wipe really, I just need them to remove make-up.
TBS Almond shower gel- WIBA? I LOVE this!! I wish TBS hadn't discontinued itI have another 4 I think in the stash
OUTs: via ebay:
Lush shimmy shimmy glitter bar- this came in a Christmas gift box, I would never have used it, so thought someone else should.
Ruby and Millie eyeshadow pallette- I decided to let go of this, even though it was so pretty
A freebie in:
Dove intensive oil hair conditioner
