  • Just dropping by to declare another UU:

Boots No 7 protect & perfect intense - this was a 5ml mini size (GWP). Can't say I noticed a dramatic difference to my skin but it hasn't done any harm. I have another 5ml to use so may notice a difference with longer use - wouldn't rush out immediately to buy again. I know it got rave reviews on a science programme a few years back but I feel a bit underwhelmed....I like Estee Lauder advanced night repair serum so will probably stick with that under my night cream once I have UU all my other serums, lotions and potions...(in the next millenium! LOL)

i think it takes a day or so to show up, mine always have. its not instant like boots.

i had a £5 reward and i had 6 months to use it. bit annoying really, to get something completely free you'd have to take advantage of all the bonus point events and buy loads, then wait until the points morph into a reward.

Thanks, I think i got £6 worth with today's purchases, don't think I'll be buying anything else for a while, I'll probably use it towards Christmas presents.

I have some ins as predicted, I went to house of Fraser Originally but they still didn't have it in stock so they gave me another 10 day sample, I ended up in Debenhams during shopping trip, so asked in there out of curiosity, as they did have it in stock i decided to buy it from there as not sure when I'll get to shop again as busy next weekend and will hopefully start taking the dogs to the beach on a Saturday soon. So here are my in's

Estee Lauder Invisible Fluid Makeup 10day sample & 30ml
Estee Lauder Double Wear Loose powder 11g ( bought this as my no.7 powder spoils the look of the foundation a bit
Plus free Estee Lauder Skincare gift consisting of
Perfectly Clean splash away Foaming Cleanser 30ml
Perfectly Clean Fresh Balancing Exfoliator 30ml
    Day Wear 15ml
    Advanced Night Repair Eye 5ml
    Idealist 7ml
    Sumptuous mascara 2.8mli
Pure Colour Lipstick in Candy .

So off to the naughty step i go, I think my maxfactor foundation will be a GA shortly not sure what to do with no.7 one as yet. Going to try the EL BB cream tomorrow

Very interested in seeing how you liked the EL BB cream.

Sorry have to report 2 ins that I have to blame some lovely ladies on this thread for.

I bought the Glamour Magazine so I could get the free Percy and somebody hydrating mask
The Mag is rubbish, probably because I'm far too old to be interested in any of the articles
I used the Mask tonight, it is very good but I dislike the scent so I won't be rushing back for the other products in the range

Then I bought another Magazine that was equally boring for the Neals Yard Rose moisturiser.

I love anything by Neals Yard.

Percy and Reed review, today my hair looks lovely, bouncy and thick and healthy. Its pretty thick hair anyway. HOWEVER my scalp has been itchier than usual, and the perfume is VERY strong. So nice for £2 but not for the regular price =)

Hey everyone. Managed to have a little shower earlier whilst sitting on my bath board. Best feeling ever! To actually be able to have a shower without toppling over and hitting my head on the side of the bath was almost magical! Although, DH was out and when I told him, he was a bit disheartened. I think he wanted us to christen the bath board together.:rotfl::p

    No UUs though.:(

February was a good month for me. All I bought was cotton wool and cotton buds. So far in March I have bought a copy of Cosmopolitan to get the moisture surge. I am aiming to buy nothing more this month.

A few days ago I threw away a tub of Sanctury's cleanser that I thought was too harsh for my face. A couple of months ago I had reaction to one of Sanctury's facial products so I am now weary of using their products. Last weekend I got some facial freebies from l'occaitaine so I used their serum and moisturiser today which I really liked.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Has anyone received their Amarya box yet? I've had a card through the door to say that there's a parcel for me at the sorting office and I can't think what else it could be!! I'm sure I haven't ordered anything else :o

On a separate note I tried TBS Brazil Nut body scrub today and was distinctly underwhelmed! Not enough scrubby bits :( are all TBS scrubs like this?? Have a fair few to get through...........

not had mine yet but we don't get parcel deliveries on saturdays. I'm sure they mentioned on their website that estimated dispatch was the 7th thou. it usually goes out the first mon/tues in the month.
