What's this method of ebay bidding all about then?

option to buy it now, or make an offer, at the end of the listing is the highest offer a winner or can it just be refused? Do you get to see the offers that have been made during the listing period?

yep you can set the period of time to however long you want and you have to accept or refuse the offer within that time frame.

If i use this option i usually set it to 48hrs - that gives me a chance to see if any more offers come in within that time and also it doesnt make the buyer (offerrer) wait too long for a response. It is good if you want a bit more flexibility but dont want to risk losing the item to a low auction price.

And no the highest offer doesnt win unless you manually accept their offer!

I don't think I had the option of setting a time when i listed best offers at the weekend - is there a default that it would have set itself to? thanks
