About a week.0

Its often a round a week from when you do the transfer (or from when the account is formally opened if you apply to do the transfer at the time of application). But it can occasionally take longer than this.
Its advised to continue to make a minimum payment on the card with a balance rather than assume that a balance transfer will go through by the due date for a card.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
it depends on the CC company
Barclays is about 2 weeks - whilst virgin is roughly about couple of daysI owe £3233 @ 0%0 -
The transfer itself is (almost) instant these days, so your question is really "how long will it take from card application to payment being made?"
In my experience it can be as little as 4 days, and as long as 4 weeks.
I'm guessing this won't help you though!0 -
her current card runs out of 0% middle of april so we didn't really know when to start the ball rolling?£18 for my old mobile.

I'd consider applying in about a week, that will give her some time should the first application not be accepted or if there are any issues with them referring the application etc.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
