Can I pay my late tax return penalty by credit card?

Hi everyone!
I have just received a letter from HMRevenue: penalty of £100 to pay... I thought I'd done this tax return last August but have checked it now and it was only 90% completed. I don't how this happened. So silly ... Can I use my credit card to pay it?

You can pay a tax bill by credit card, although it does incur a small charge of something like 1.5%.
I would imagine that you can pay the penalty in the same way - does the letter not say ways in which you can pay?

(again assuming its the same for paying the penalty as for paying tax - and I can't see why it wouldn't be)
