I Need an Armchair! Where From Though?!

I know, totally random, and at 29 i should be able to pick out an armchair, but i can't! I have a sofa from the Go Create range from Homebase, and it bleedin awful. Sagging everywhere and the cushions go flat etc. Ex display though, so lesson learnt! Obviously I don't want the matching chair, which is a cuddle chair anyway, and too big, so i want to get a 'feature' chair, in a contrasting colour that will compliment the sofa and the room decor. I'm just stuck on where to but it from, and how much I should be looking to pay. I've seen a couple from DFS and CSL that i like, but at £400-£500?! Is that expensive? Ideas? Thanks!!

Why not buy from a company that makes decent stuff. Search the Sunday supplements and Home magazines. If you buy from the likes of DFS you are paying for large advertising budget and confusing pricing.0

Hey, its a continual learning curve for all us - not because your young. I'd strongly suggest you keep away from the likes of Harveys/DFS, etc. They may look pretty, but they dont last - read reviews....I'd suggest speak to friends/parents/neighbours about where they bought & their experiences. My own experience, I'd suggest somewhere like Marks & Spencer - John Lewis - Youll get the quality & aftermarket service, but ya, you will have to pay for it.
If you need to buy cheap, what about Ikea? I know someone who had a sofa from Ikea, but again cheap but wont last long BUT dont go paying through the nose by buying at Harveys/DFS - cos you almost certainly will regret it.0 -
I was looking for a new chair recently in John Lewis. I thought that they had a very limited range of furniture.
Furniture Village had a good selection of recliners and other chairs. Not particularly cheap though.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
