I received a letter from Lloyds on 30th December last year offering me a PPI refund of £1,800 on a credit card I have with them. The letter stated if I accepted the offer then I didn't need to do anything else as they were arranging direct payment into my bank account. It's now the end of February and I haven't seen a penny. How long would anyone advise leaving it before I start chasing it up?
Thanks for any advice.

Ok so I called them and was told I would receive payment 'very shortly', when I pressed her as to what she meant by this she said they didn't set a timescale so she couldn't tell me. What rubbish. I then tried again hoping I would be able to speak to someone more useful and this operator just said 'Haven't you already made a call to us today regarding this?' in a rather patronising tone to which I just gave up.
