hi, my car is about to be written off,I have only had it 5 weeks and paid three thousand for it.it had been a write off before but was in lovely condition, will the fact that it had been written off before affect what they will offer me,thanks..

If it's recorded, yes it usually will affect the offer. On my last car it knocked the write off value down from £1800 to £1500.

depends on whether you knew or not.

Either way, as you've only had it 5 weeks you should get back what you paid (as a minimum)
