Windows 2000 - Japanese Language Pack

Hi gang

I desperately need to use Japanese on my PC and I've tried many time to download the language pack from the microsoft website but it keep telling me; 'This version of Global IME cannot be installed on this version of Windows'.

I have Windows 2000 on my PC and I have no Windows CDs to utilise.

Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there an alternative?

Thanks but I've already tried all of these suggestions but none of it works.
