Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can help me with a problem with my Peugeot 206 ( 1.1 – yr2003).
The problem that I am currently having is with the front left indicator, which is currently not working. The dash light indicator flashes too fast and clicks, yet no light come on at the front but my side and back indicator comes on. I have changed the front left indicator, yet this didn’t make any difference. I then checked the fuses and tested them and still didn’t fix the problem. I have also looked at the wires and they don’t seem to be frayed or damaged and the ports in the engine fuse box are clean.
I am now stuck on why the front left indicator isn’t work. Has anyone got any idea.
Thank for any help!

Check the earth connection of the indicator that's not working.
Into laymans terms, what he means is that the entire shell of the car IS the ground/earth/negative/- (or whatever you want to call it).
There will be a solder tag or crimp terminal on the end of a wire attached to the light unit:
Which is bolted to the chassis/shell/engine block. If this comes lose, the light won't work.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

The other issue I had with a Peugeot was that the plug that connects to the back of the bulb or holds it in was corroded and needed replacing because power was not getting to the bulb.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Don't all old French cars do this?
Yes and most of the new one's too
I fear the OP may find a corroded connector buried deep inside the car.
Needs a multimeter really, to check the voltages at the light cluster and then trace it back properly.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

In the meantime, just sellotape a BMW badge to your bonnet. That way, traffic will expect you to veer left at junctions and roundabouts without warning, so your front left indicator won't be needed. :rotfl:0
