Other bank charges

Hi,
I'm already in the process of re-claiming my bank charges for unauthorised overdrafts/unpaid cheques/direct debits but I have a question about another charge that my bank, Barclays, has been charging me.
While I was a student my father used to send me money transfers into my bank account on a refular basis from Russia. For example, he paid his bank a percentage for the transfer service and sent me £1000. However, I only received £987 of it as Barclays charged me £13 every time for the privilege of receiving money into my account from my dad. This has been going on since October 04 and I have paid 27 x £13. Before then the charge was somehow £11 and I paid 10 x £11 but in October 2001 I received exactly £1200 from my father so was not charged then.
I contacted Barclays before to ask about this charge and they said that's just how it is. I then went to Financial Ombudsman in October 06 and made a complaint. Barlcays then replied, firstly making a mistake by apologising about my issues with money transfers from Poland(!!! no, from Russia!) and said that they contacted their international payment dept who advised them that Barclays received £987 which they paid into my account, basically putting responisibility onto someone else.
Now I know for a fact that my father always sends me a round figure, i.e. £1000, and pays to his bank additionally. After each transfer I get a letter from my bank which says (I dont understand what it means):
Credit amount: (for example) £987
Payment amount: £987
From: HSBC Bank PLC (All UK offices)
8 Canada Square, London, E14 5HQ
For account of: me
By order of: my dad, his address
Reconciliation data (if any)
Orig AMT: GBP 1000
Other banks charges: GBP 13
Payment details
current expences
And this is a standard lette which is computer generated.
Now while I can accept that it may not be entirely Barclay's charge (but I doubt it), I do not think I should be paying anything for the privilege of having loads of money credited into my account. This has been going for so long and I keep on paying £13 for the privilege.
Am I not right to be curious about this? Does anybody know what this may be? And can I claim it back (I've paid over £400 in the past 6 years but I've been receiving money from dad for the last 8,5 years)? If so, should I go back to the Financial Ombudsman again?
Thanks you very much,

Hi there, did you ever find out about this?
As I am having the same problem, and it is again with Barclays.
I just rang them and they told me that they are not charging it, and that it is the other bank's charge.
But yes, seems exactly the same problem - everytime this particular client from Scandinavia pays, we get charged £6. And it is listed as 'Other Banks Charges'.
Anyone else getting this? As someone is making a tidy profit and whichever bank it is, and no one will admit that they are charging it.
Thanks, Mikie0 -
update:
In case it helps with anyones advice:
The sending bank is Handelsbanken (paid using 'economy transfer')
The receiving bank is a Barclays business account.
