Santander PPI Reclaim

Hi, we sent Santander a £1 cheque with the 1st letter in the ppi claim process on 30th January, the cheque cleared on 10th Feb, still heard nothing, how long can we "reasonably" expect to have to wait? We are unsure as to how valid our claim will be as it was my husband's loan that he took out before we married and he got behind with his repayments late on in the loan and the bank cancelled the ppi on the loan, however we still think it's worth a try?

try giving them a call on 0845 600 6014, i have found that most companies are willing to get the ball rolling
