    Noticed today when buying Cadburys Caramel Bunnies at Tesco they are classed on the receipt as "Easter Eggs" meaning you should be able to use the price drop voucher on them, which comes off before multibuy.

    Bunnies = 70p each (3 for £1)
    Buy 15, subtotal £10.50
    Multibuy Discount = £5.50
    Price drop voucher = £2.50
    Total to pay £2.50 or 16p each (1/2 the offer price)

    In tescos they have the green and blacks eggs at 6.00 Bogof, if you buy 2 and use the 2.50 of a 10pound spend from the price drop leaflet it works on the pre bogof price, so you get 2 nice eggs for 3.50.

    Thanks so much for the tip, done this today and it worked a treat!! :T It wouldn't have occurred to me that it would work on pre-discount price!

    They definitely say Easter Eggs on the receipt, I didn't need that many though, I tried it with Lindt Bunnies (which didn't work) but the SA said the bunnies were classed as easter eggs and it said so on the receipt too :)

    I had to giggle, I saw a lady in my local with her husband and child, walking up the aisle trying to find 'the' eggs that the £2.50 voucher worked with. Looking confused her husband said why don't we get these ones, she squawed back at him 'It's only on the large eggs, the lare ones!' he looked bemused, 'uh, it says on a £10 spend' she looked a bit embarrased at the rant she had in the middle of the aisle lol.

    Shall be taking buying some eggs later next week when they will no doubt go down in price again. Have four kiddies to buy for and for hollow chocolate and lots of cardboard it's not cheap for what it is.

    Does anyone know which ones would suitable for a child wth a nut allergy?

    I'm pretty sure all the kinnerton one's are, they are normally the character one's, they come with a special no nut promise.

    "Made with the Kinnerton nut safety promise. Free from artificial colours & flavours. Suitable for vegetarians. Hollow milk chocolate egg and 2 milk chocolate bars What is the Kinnerton Nut Safety Promise? We go to extraordinary lengths to try and make our chocolates safe for Nut Allergy Sufferers. No Peanuts, segregated production, dedicated lines that have no nut products and countless other measures for our raw material supplies and staff."

    Asda have big wispa easter eggs for £2 each at the moment :D

    Buy 4 of them in Tescos, use the £2.50 MOC and then pricecheck and they work out at £5.50 for 4, or £1.38 each.
