Cheap hotel near Wembley stadium?

Options
Hi,
I'm looking for a cheap hotel overnight on the 2nd June for 2 adults and 2 children. Any recommendations?
I've seen a premier in in Ealing which is 2.7miles away but would that be easy accessible on public transport?
Thanks x

According to www.tfl.gov.uk you can get bus 83 from outside Wembley Arena (which is near the Stadium) to the Hanger Lane (Ealing) Hotel but the jounrey time is 35 minutes. The Uxbridge Travelodge sometimes has cheap rooms and it is about a 25 minute direct journey on the metropolitan tube line from Uxbridge to Wembley Park for the Stadium.

There is a Prem Inn next to Wembley Park Station, right over the road from Wembley Stadium, any good?

Hi, We stayed at the premier inn at Kenton (Harrow) opposite Kenton train station. There is an underground station nearby(Northwick park) and its 15 mins to Wembley. It is fairly popular with concert goes and has a nice pub attached to it so you can eat cheaply before you go. Not sure of the cost, but last time we had a problem with the air con (nothing major) and they refunded my money, no questions asked.

Just had a quick look, Kenton Premier inn is £150 and the Hanger lane one £54. It takes about 40 mins to walk from Hanger lane to Wembley (from what i can remember) or you could catch a train from Stonebrigde park to North Wembley (5 mins).

This Travelodge is in an industrial area of Stonebridge and an area considered to have high drugs and youth gang related crime. IMO it is not an area to be out walking with children after dark. There are also reviews on trip Advisor about cars being broken into by gangs of youths in this TL. Hanger Lane although not far from the TL hotel is in a busier, safer area. Reviews here of Wembley TL.
