When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free. :D

Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:money:

Morning all:wave:
My late start at work today, but taking dd2 off to get her braces fitted - she can't wait:D So, not an NSD as I need to pay to park at the hospital. But we won't have a drink and a cake in the cafe as I need to rush back for work...so an MSE trip really:o
Right, better get my list down:
  • check banking
  • check onepoll
  • meal from plan tonight - chicken pasta bake
  • chicken is defrosting in the fridge now
  • lunch at home for dd2 and I
  • heating off during the day - on low tonight
  • LSD - just pay to park at the hospital
  • switch lights and other things off when not being used
Right,can't think of anything else:D
Have a great hump day everyone:T
I really need to sort out a new signature!

Morning everyone, thanks Pixie for the thread.

I've signed up for the NSD challenge too, I've gone for 15, quite steep as that's half the month!

I need to concentrate on study and course-work today, so I'll push the hoover round at some point and wipe the bathroom round, but that's about it.
