.......... is organising a competition, free of charge with no obligation to purchase, from 14/02/2012 to 30/03/2012 (hereafter the "Game").
The game is composed of 3 stages, each stage corresponds to a recipe: starter, main course and dessert. At each stage, the participant must select the recipe's 3 main ingredients from a list of ingredients.
The more correct ingredients the participant chooses, the more points he/she will earn. These points allow the participant to enter in up to 3 prize draws, depending on the number of points he/she has earned. As the case maybe, a participant may be eligible in a prize draw for:
- Gourmet Gift Cards when they have a minimum of 20 points
- 1 year of cooking classes with L'atelier des Chefs when they have a minimum of 50 points
- 1 return flight to New York for 2 people and a patisserie course when he/she has a minimum of 100 points.
For each stage in the game, if a participant choses 1 correct ingredient, he/she may earn 5 points; 2 correct ingredients, 10 points; 3 correct ingredients, 20 points. If he/she does not correctly choose any ingredients, he/she will not earn any point.
Following the second stage of the game, participants will be asked to invite friends to take part in the game in order to receive 20 additional points. Following the third stage of the game, the participant can invite other friends to take part in the game by either directly entering their email address or inviting them via their webmail account. They will receive an additional 20 points for each friend invited. In addition, if they invite 3 friends who finally registered in the game with the email address provided by the participant, participants will receive a L'atelier des Chefs branded apron (this is limited to the first 100 participants who invite 3 friends to take part in the Chef's Challenge). The participant will need to pay for postage if they wish to receive the apron by post.
Participation in the Chef's Challenge is free of charge. In-store purchases or cooking class reservations are not required to win a prize.
ARTICLE 4. PRIZE DRAW
Subject to prize draws resulting from random selections, prizes are comprised of:
1. 1 participant having earned a minimum of 100 points will receive:
1 return flight Paris-New York for 2 people, with a maximum value of 1,600€ including tax.
The winner can choose to travel either with a companion on one journey (the 2 people need to travel together on the same flight) or make 2 separate return flights alone. This prize is only valid on Air France flights and is valid for 1 year and subject to availability. It is only valid on the cabin class indicated on the free ticket. It is non-transferable or exchangeable, and does not have any monetary value and cannot be used to gain Flying blue airmiles. Any changes made to the original reservation are subject to availability in the specified cabin class, indicated on the free ticket. This prize does not include transport costs to and from the airport, hotels, meals, drinks, tips or personal expenses.
If the participant is resident in the United Kingdom, L'atelier des Chefs will pay for a return trip on the Eurostar from London to Paris or offer an alternative travel arrangement to Paris.
The winner of this competition and their travel companion should ensure that they obtain any required visas, travel insurance, permissions and comply with any conditions of travel. They must possess a valid passport or identity card, which expires more than 6 months after the intended travel date. The winner and their companion are responsible for verifying that their passport is valid for entry into the visiting country and that they have all necessary visa requirements. They will be responsible for covering any additional fees relating to obtaining a visa for valid entry into the visiting country. L'atelier des Chefs or any parties involved with organising this game and prize cannot be held responsible for any administrative problems (including entry refusal and/or delays in obtaining visas) resulting in entry into the United States. The prize winner and their nominated travel companion are responsible for ensuring that they are medically fit to travel. They must also take responsibility for all travel insurance arrangements.

2. 13 participants having obtained a minimum of 50 points will receive:
1 year of cooking classes with L'atelier des Chefs (France or United Kingdom)
The winners will be chosen at random from a prize draw, which prize draw a participant is entered into will be determined by what geographical area they are resident in.
• 1 winner from a prize draw of all participants resident in the Ile de France (5 cookery school venues in Paris)
• 1 winner from a prize draw of all participants resident in Aix-en-Provence (1 cookery school venue)
• 1 winner from a prize draw of all participants resident in the Bouches-du-Rhone (excluding Aix-en-Provence, 1 cookery school venue in Marseille, opening the 27th march 2012)
• 1 winner from a prize draw of all participants resident in Rhône (1 cookery school venue in Lyon)
• 1 winner from a prize draw of all participants resident in Bas-Rhin (1 cookery school venue in Strasburg)

Gift cards are transferable, and are valid for 1 year and may be used on multiple occasions towards payment (or part-payment) of a cooking class or retail store purchase, and are valid in all French cookery school venues.
The United Kingdom prize will only be valid on in the London cookery school venues.
3. 50 participants have obtained a minimum of 20 points will receive:
1 L'atelier des Chefs Gift Card, valid on a 1 hour cookery school, with a monetary value of 36€ including tax (or £36 in VAT for any prize winners resident in the United Kingdom)
The gift card prizes will be allocated by the following geographical areas:
• 10 gift cards for 10 participants resident in Marseille
• 10 gift cards for 10 participants resident in Rennes
• 10 gift cards for 10 participants resident in Toulouse
• 10 gift cards for 10 participants resident in France (excluding Marseille, Rennes and Toulouse)
• 10 gift cards for 10 participants resident in the United Kingdom
The total prize draw value is 1440€ including tax and £360incVAT
Gift cards are transferable, and are valid for 1 year and may be used on multiple occasions towards payment (or part-payment) of a cooking class or retail store purchase, and are valid in all French cookery school venues.
The 10 United Kingdom prizes will only be valid on in the London cookery school venues.
4. The First 100 participants whose invited friends participate in the game will receive:
A L'atelier des Chefs branded apron, with a recommended retail value of £24. The prize winner will be responsible for collecting the prize from L'atelier des Chefs, 19 Wigmore Street, W1U 1PH, London. L'atelier des Chefs will not be responsible for bearing the cost to arrange postage to any prize winners.
L'atelier des Chefs reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of similar monetary value.
ARTICLE 5. DESIGNATION OF WINNERS
The winner will be selected by a draw on 13/04/2012 at 11 a.m. UK time using a random selection algorithm filed with the French bailiff depositary of the terms and conditions
The winner will be named once their eligibility for the prize has been verified. The participant whose name is drawn will be contacted by email by the Promoter within 15 days. If the winning participant does not respond within 15 days of sending this email, he/she will be deemed to have renounced his/her prize, which will remain the property of the Promoter.
The name of the winner can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Promoter at the address indicated in article 7 below, during the month following the prize draw.
The postage costs linked to a written request for the name of the winner will be reimbursed at the current second class rate if requested.
The winner must accept that the Promoter will publish his/her name, the date he/she won and details of the prize on the Site, without giving any right to compensation or benefit other than allocation of the prize.
The winner must comply with these terms and conditions of the Game. In the event of non-compliance with these rules, the prize will not be awarded.
