Beware booking through Active Hotels!

Active Hotels invite visitors to their website to look at guests reviews-however they don't say that they are censored!

I had cause to complain on their 'satisfaction' e mail about a hotel(twice) neither was printed.

When I complained that they were giving a false impression by not reporting my comments, they stated that the hotel could view my comments, still can't work out if this was meant as some sort of threat!

Active Hotels act as agents for their hotels, and obviously care more about their commission than their Clients.

I will not book through these people again.

Better to look at views on https://www.tripadvisor.com and elsewhere before booking to get an idea of what the consensus is, of course active hotels are going to be biased.

This hotel is in Corby, not a lot of comment on Tripadvisor on this one!

I have never had a bad experience using Tripadvisor, and I will continue to check with them.

It's the dishonesty of Active Hotels that really irks me as they seemed to offer an impartial array of comments.......

Ive seen lots of unsatisfied clients comments on active hotels.

Does the hotel already have reviews showing. I think Active has some sort of policy of only showing reviews online once they have received more than 5. The hotels do have access to reviews via their extranet.

I, too, have seen poor reviews on Active Hotel website, the point I am making is how many others never make it?

Sorry, Fed-up, meant to say that the hotel, the Elizabeth in Corby has many reviews, giving an average rating of 8 out of 10.
