Read the "End User License Agreement" supplied with the software, this should tell you if you can "Legally" load the software to both your PC and Laptop.
As to loading it onto both if you want to, then technically I don't think that's an issue.
  • You can load it on to 3 PCs or use it 3 times before the key will refuse to activate it. If you buy second hand and they have used it once you will be able to use it twice (hope that makes sense).

i dont think its right - but then again , what do i know ??
most of MS software can be put on one PC and one PC only, using it on 2 machines places you on the other side of the legal line(if that bothers you)...in my opinion its an unfair user agreement , you bought it - y cant you use it on as many machines as you want to ? beats me.
i recomend using openoffice, its an open source software that is given for free, it is feature compatible with word, excel, access, powerpoint and MAth, its as good as or slightly better than MS office XP not as feature rich as 2003(but not far off) it will open and save files in the MS OFFICE format IE DOC,XLS, PPT etc. so if you can(or for any one else reading this) get it and save a bob or two, and stick it to bill ;)
