Work is awful, horrible snide little man making horrible comments at me for no reason. We have someone off as unfortunately her mum passed away. There are only 3 of us in our accounts team to start with, and the 2 of us left are having to cover her work as well. This doesn't seem to have registered with other people in the company who are unwilling to give us a bit of a break and instead send nasty snide emails when we have asked for something to be done correctly, and make sarcastic comments on the phone when HE was asking US asking for a favour such as "oh yeh you're soooo busy yeh right". :wall:

Evening all! Loving the early spring heatwave, hope it sticks around for a bit.
Jaffacake - your experience at work with Nastyman reminds me of the advice Anne Robinson gave to her daughter (at the end of her book Memoirs of an Unfit Mother). Apparently she told her daughter that throughout her life she will meet a number of a$$holes, and when she comes into contact with someone not nice, she should just look that person up and down and say to herself "Ok, so you're this month's a$$hole...." - hope that helps!
Still searching for the last 2 NSDs to reach my target, fat chance of getting one tomorrow as it is payday, and a wagonload of provisions will be wending its way to Chateau Nargle from Mr S. But there's still time....
I suggest we raise a jar or two of ale to slowly's nuptials on Friday evening? Of course, if the rest of you want to start without me tomorrow, then carry on through Thursday, and I will join you Friday! It will be just like a weekend stag/hen do but midweek. Igor's wedding brew has now stopped fermenting, just needs a few hours to clear then it will sit happily festering in the corner over there (by the double yellow lines which mark the Tardis parking space), ready for us all to dip in and enjoy(?). Who's bringing the cheesy pineapples and the furry handcuffs? One life - your life - live it!0 -

Good evening folks,
Jaffacakegal, I hope things improve at work soon and someone gives the idiot a personality transplant.
I hope the rest of the msers are well, as I haven't yet got round to reading the posts. Declaring NSD18 for today and I think I have reached my target (I'm getting old and forgetful:rotfl:)
I will maybe just carry on for the end of the month to see how many more I can get, although I don't think it'll be too many, as I've a colleagues Birthday dinner on Thursday, am out on Friday and normally find something to spend my money on on Saturdays:oIf you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Thankfully sore limbs from Sun feeling a lot better today, should be fine by Thurs...when I have pole and will have a whole other raft of bruises. Oh the things we do

Dragon wanders out of the TARDIS looking sheepish and trying to hide Legolas behind her. Coughs slightly and mentions in passing that she has 19 nsds and has set up a champagne bar in the 2nd room on the right as you enter the TARDISDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
