  • Rising, well done on seeing the Pandas, as you got closer to them than I did when I was there in February and I wasn't impressed at the time:(. They look fantastic in the pictures though:).

Awwww Red so sorry to hear that ... I must admit we were really lucky as when we first went in Sunshine was tucked up in a corner and with all the people jammed in we couldn't see him at all. He very kindly ;) decided to move to the middle of his enclosure - which was right opposite where we were standing so I was able to get the great shots....

Well, a totally unexpected No 13 today .... haven't ventured out as it's like pea soup out there :( and really cold - have stayed put and had a nice lie in (after being up at my usual 6am and deciding at 8am that it wasn't going to clear), tucked up in bed with the cats reading a book:)

Has anyone seen If anywhere / know if she's OK?

Evening all, and hello Spoony! lovely to 'see' you, even if only briefly. Glad If's ok and off doing something fun

Well not a NSD for me today, but could've been worse, had rather a magical mystery tour, needed to take some clobber back to the town nearby (nearest big / decent shopping centre) so my route kinda went like this... up M4...and off....

    1) stop at Mr M to get bread mix (with coupons of course) and picked up a bag of salad. Also got petrol (at the Mr M petrol station not instore :rotfl:)

    2) round the town to Mr T Xtra - picked up free nappies (should get a JTD back for those) plus bread - total (with coupons and JTD) 9p :rotfl: Also a tub of stain remover, on offer for £3 - 2 x £1 coupons, total £1 (normally £5) Was thinking of flogging the nappies at the car boot but I've just thought there is a charity for women escaping domestic abuse which has a collection locally, they ask for mainly make up and toiletries but also underwear for the ladies and baby items - so might donate those there and clock up some Karma points.

    3) back round from Mr T to park at the retail park (a la free parking, naughty me) and off to the shops - took a jumper back to HnM and replaced it with two vest tops, couple of items back to Republ1c and then was meant to decide between the jeans I'd bough the other week, but got a 3rd pair to consider instead :rotfl: I want a particular colour pair, unfortunately, the ones that fit me better aren't the exact colour I want...and the ones that don't fit my derrier quite so well, are the colour I want. :doh:They'll be out of fashion before I make a decision! :rotfl:

    4) round the corner to an Aldi i have just discovered I can stop at en route home from my juant - so stopped in for some chicken breast (much cheaper free range than anywhere else i've found and I hear their meat is ok - so will give it a try) and then picked up some mince and buns for home made burgers tonight - nom nom nom. also got a couple of other bits, incl chips for OH and some flapjack bars for me (found one has chocolate flavour topping so that will have to be after lent as I feel that's cheating if I eat it now, even if it isn't really choc IYSWIM?)

So, well and truly checked out my new tyres today :rotfl:

Tomorrow won't be a NSD either as I have an aerial hoop workshop - really looking forward to it, but sense there will be some impressive bruises.

don't forget the clocks go forward tonight x
