NSD 5 today. Yesterday was my 4th but i forgot to log on had a busy day DD2 has a tummy bug and then spent most of the afternoon in A and E with my Mum who has broke her wrist. DD2 is at home today as she is still not well i have had two days off work and now i have the mothers guilt as i have not been to work at least it's better than feeling guilty cause i had gone to work and worrying all day. At least being at home i have been able to do some of the jobs that i wouldn't have got round to.

Spendy day for me again. Argh!!

I got tempted by a ball for doggy as a treat for now being allowed off his lead in public! Decided then that as I was spending I would buy a washing line, as I have been thinking about it for nearly a year! Following on from that was an impulse buy of chocolate :(

Decided that as a slap on the wrist (or a pat on the back, depending on how you look at it!) I would go and set up a budget account at the post office and empty all the cash out of my purse in to it. Soon put a stop to the impulse spending :)

    Ho hum.

Am on annual leave after today for a week, so going to try and tackle my 7 in a row target. Eeek!

Mytimetoshine2012 - My parents gave me a box of cleaning products for Christmas, I was well happy! Not found anywhere to put them either!

Wednesday and yesterday were NSDs 3 and NSD 4 spent a small amount yesterday but was out of my bag for drinks, which I shall explain... (long rant coming up, feel free to ignore!) :D

So it was my long awaited date yesterday. And it was bloody atrocious. Again I was last minute (this happened similar last week with another guy) and I ended up going in the pub on my own. He picked it, and it was horrible, 5 old men and a couple scruffy students in. Felt so uncomfortable. Bought my own drink and sat and waited. I was late but he got there 15 minutes late. Considering he lives round the corner and I drove 20 miles, I don't think that's acceptable!

Was ok to talk to, but not really interested in me, was just moaning about work etc. Bought himself a drink. I needed another drink a while later, he didn't offer to buy so I bought myself another (and offered one to him)!

He walked off in the middle of me talking just saying "I'll be a minute". When I went to leave I thought maybe he would walk me to my car - area was rough and I had already said I was scared walking round cos the road I parked on was dark. I stood up and said "Are you staying here for a bit?" And he said "Yeh, gonna see who's around, see ya later" whilst texting on his phone, and just turned around and left me!!!

I was seething!! No "thanks for coming" "nice to meet you" "thanks for driving 40 miles" or anything! No text message off him since, which I'm glad of cos he was a horrible person, nothing like his messages which had been so nice!

    Anyway rant over!!!!

Onwards and upwards, someone else on Saturday - and this time we're meeting halfway between our houses ;)

  • Well ....... guess what ...... I DID IT!:j:j:j

It wasn't the most pleasant experience (understatement!) and I did cry the whole way through and howled when I came out :o and was a total wreak but it's done (and hopefully I'll never need another one!).....

Unsure what to do with today's NSD - think I'm leaning towards a "no" as I had to buy lunch when I got back to work but I had put £10 aside for the hosp visit to cover bus fares / drinks / food etc and only used £4.10 of that (got out too early to eat there) ..... so lunch could be covered by that too ...... but that feels too much like cheating!

I was late but he got there 15 minutes late. Considering he lives round the corner and I drove 20 miles, I don't think that's acceptable!
