A cracking start to the month!
One life - your life - live it!
  • Rising – I’m glad you got your new phone and it bagged you NSD #1,:j enjoy your spendy Saturday.:rotfl:
It's gone a bit t*ts up ..... went to Mr T to get the few bits I needed but mainly to stock up on Whiskas (1/2 price on the box of 12 pouches) only to find a great empty aisle with "out of stock" against all the varieties:mad:.

Only option is to go to the one near DM when I visit tomorrow ... but I had to get liquid gold today (not enough to get to hers) so it will mean 2 spendy days if I do go ......:(

    Woo hoo!

NSD 3 for me please, and my 3 in a row target :D

I think I am going to try for a 5 in a row somewhere this month to push myself.

Well after a busy day not spending money whilst being dragged through muddy fields by the dog, I am going to put my feet up and have a well deserved cup of tea!

    Happy Saturday everyone :D

I am on NSD 2 and won't be spending any more today as I am having a rest in bed. Felt horrible a flu like so have slept all afternoon. A bit extreme to save money but at least I have another one under my belt. DD went to IKEA and phoned to ask if I wanted anything. I must have been ill as I couldn't remember what I needed :D
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

I hope you feel better soon poohbear, although you can send the flu this way when you have finished with it please. I am going to need something to help me stack up the NSDs! I can feel the familiar 'shopping itch' starting again :(
  • Evening all
Well my life is just skidding past me at a rate I cannot keep up with at the moment. I'm neglecting my mse forum but I am hoping to get caught up sooner rather than later - unfortunately my real life is getting in the way at the moment.
I've managed to bag 2 nsd's so far on Thursday and Friday. Saturday is never an nsd for me unfortunately, but I have minimised the spends today. Need to tighten my belt more than ever because unfortunately my OH has been signed off sick from work and doesn't get paid other than ssp. I can see my wedding fund disappearing as I type.
Hope everyone is well, sorry I can't keep up.

Innocently sat down with my marmite on toast and nearly spat out my coffee! Sprout curry, are you serious? Maybe next time add some egg :rotfl::rotfl:

Whoops, sorry, shall I nip round to mop that up with some of my toilet roll :rotfl: and trust me, spout curry is tame compared to some of the other food on offer at some previous NSD virtual outings :rotfl:

Well, I'm afraid i've started March rather tragially and still no NSD :o I took my primarni items back today. HOW long was that queue, i was standing there so long I nearly forgot what I was queing for, though there was a bit of an interesting altication in the queue, a guy had gone to get something else, then treid to get back into the same place, which a number of people took umbrige too (given the length was hardly suprising) and the guy turned round saying 'its because of my colour isn't it':eek: errr no, you could be a spotted elephant, it's the fact you left your place and tried to push back in.

Anywhoo, I also fell into a few other clothes shops :o so crazy clothes challenge also in jeopardy.

BUT, I did do my big coupon shop in Mr T as well, shop was £77 then saved £30 with coupons, £12 with multibuys, so total was £35-ish and I haven't worked out how much more I saved by things being on 1/2 price deals :j:j I am fully stocked on all laundry and cleaning for prob a year at least

Hope you're all having a good weekend, sorry for waffling x
