Quick advice on selling & photos

Hi there

I hope someone can give me some quick advise. I have quite a few items to list on ebay to sell. I cant find the conection for my camera and I'm unsure whether to just go ahead and list or to wait till I find it and list them with pictures.

Can I update with pictures at a later date? Or should I take a chance without and maybe offer to show pics if they email me and want to see them at a later date?

TIA for your time

Cath

if you have just misplaced your lead, upload all the info to ebay, and add to the listing that you will upload pics later. That way you still list all your items for half price, and then can add the pics when you find your lead :)

  • I would definatly find the lead for your camera if you can though, whenever I've listed anything without a picture I'm lucky if it sells. You never get as much money as you should without pictures.

true. but list the items anyways without the piccys and upload them later.
if the items are common ones, cant you "borrow" some piccys off the www?

I'm de cluttering my house, some stuff is my dd'd old clothes, spoilt only child :o so lots of good labels and lots with tags, also have some household pieces, I just wasnt sure if I was able to add pictures later and I didnt want to go through the whole rigmaroll of putting the listings on and them not selling.

I think I lent the lead to my folks so can get it tomorrow but would like to get alot of the hard work out of the road tonight whilst dd is in bed and I've my domestic duties completed lol :rotfl:

    Thanks for your advice

Don't leave it too long to add the photos because you could get some mean eBayer placing a bid to prevent you adding the photos at a later date... therefore reducing the price they have to pay!
  • you can still add pics even if an item has a bid, just go to revise, i know that you cant change the price etc but i was selling a footy shirt on sunday and it only had hours to go with bids on and someone asked to see the back and it let me add a pic to the listing.
