Thanks all I have found a really nice room that will let me book for the afternoon for £100 and I have bought a hot dog steamer for £5 off amazon.

Have got ages now to keep my eyes peeled for bargains :-)

Hi I know you mention you have looked at a room but have you also looked at scout huts in your area. We hire the one down the road from us and it is £30 for the whole day and evening and it has a complete kitchen that you are able to use.

For decorating have a look at American themed scene setters. We got the disney ones for our daughters princess party and turned the scout hut into the inside of a fairytale castle. I got mine off ebay so it is worth looking.

If money is tight you could always ask people to each bring a particular item of food with them and no one will think anything wrong with you asking people to bring their own tipple.

Enjoy your day and I think it is lovely that you are making it inclusive for all.

I have looked into our local scout hut but it isn't very nice, and one a bit further has recently been on fire.
