Motor breakdown insurance?

Hi,

I'm currently paying a five year loan for my finance on my car

I've paid a year and a half and have noticed on the invoice something that says Motor breakdown insurance ( £699 ) and RFL ( £85.25 ) What are these please and do I have to keep on paying the mbi?

RFL is road fund licence, ie car/road tax disc.

Motor breakdown insurance - Sounds like AA/RAC membership but I may be wrong. If it is sounds it quite expensive, 5 years for £699 sounds a lot. Whether they may refund the cover that you haven't used (ie the 3 and a half years remaining) is unlikely I would have thought but might be worth asking.
