Microsoft money plus & credit card statements

Hey all,

Im after some technical support, i have recently started using microsoft money plus (MMP) to manage my finances. I have been downloading my statements from Halifax on-line banking and importing them into MMP. This works fine on my current account, savings account and ISA. But when i try to import my Credit card i get the following message

"An unaccepted QIF transaction header was encountered. Transactions under that header have been skipped. If you were trying to import an investment QIF file or have money essentials click here for more information"

Suffice to say none of my transactions get imported and i am left having to enter them all manually.

Is it just me that is encountering this or does anyone know a way around it as its starting to get annoying now.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

I thought Microsoft Money was a discontinued product? I still use the 2004 version but it's not possible to update financial providers - basically if the institution isn't in the database then it won't be provided.

    See Microsoft's own help page

Also, there is a free version of Microsoft Money that replaced the paid for version, which was made available when the paid for version ended last year but it is geared solely for the US market:

Hope this helps. I didn't realise there was still an active version of MMP.

Apologies, I've just noticed the original post is from nearly two weeks ago.

Ah... This is the version I have and may explain why I cannot get it to work with the credit card statements. Everything else on it seems to be working correctly though? I guess I'll just have to enter them in manually still.

Its a shame Microsoft don't support this anymore, I have tried other money managing software but cant seem to get on with it.

    Thanks anyway though Robbie!
