Hi,
Hope someone can give me some advice!
I was put into a period of consultation on 22nd July 2011 and this will last until 1st October 2012, during this time I have had 1 letter from my employer saying my job is at risk. Should they have done more than this?

Consultation is 2 way process looking for ways to avod termination.

I don't see how i can avoid termination as they are making the job redundant on 1st Oct, there isn't any alternative! I was just asking if anyone knows more about the consultation process and what my rights are0
