    For anyone else having this problem this is what it suggests:

    "I launched the Logitech Mouseware Mouse Properties software from all programs, clicked on the Buttons tab, at the bottom Scroller section clicked both "use MS office compatible scroll only" and "scroll in active window only" boxes and it works all better now. The bottom box for "scroll in active window only" seemed to make the big difference."


    Once again thanks for everyone who tried to solve my problem and for taking the time to help.
