The Halifax Junior Isa 6% that is available in branches is not available in Scotland as there is no Halifax branches
I wanted to open an ISA with Halifax / Bank of Scotland and linked it to the Junior Isa at 6% but this is not available for Scottish
I spoke to customer services and it's only available in England
I don't think this is really fair .

I don't think it's fair that your students get to go to Scottish universities for free, or that there are no prescription charges.
Damn, what should we do about all this inequality?!I am an IFA, but nothing I say on this forum constitutes financial advice. Always draw your own conclusions and always do your own research.0 -

Just checked with the Halifax as I was interested in this product and you wouldn't be able to open an account anyway as the parents need to have a savings account with the Halifax in order to qualify. I'm presuming that you don't.
I feel discriminated against for not having an account with them now!0
