Camping - River Dart?

Hi
Has anyone camped at the River Dart or been to the Country Park for the day, it has really good reviews in general on trip advisor and UKcampsite, it is relatively expensive so trying to weigh up whether to go to a different campsite and then go there for the day, but then it will cost £7.95 each and there are 4 of us to go just for the day!! We like electrical hook up when we go!!
Cheers
