E.on Fixed business plan-renewal problems
Hi
I was on the fixed rate business plan from 10/5/11-10/5/12. Ive just received a letter stating that as we apparantly handnt contacted them before 14/2/12, our contract has been automatically renewed for another yr. Having phoned them up, there is no termination/exit fee and you'll not be surprised to learn the new tariff is significantly more expensive than some of the comparisons.
1. Does this seem correct? That the notice date is 14/2/12 when the end of cotract date is 10/5/12? My dads business tariff had a 30 day notice period with scottish power?
2. Is there anyway to terminate this contract? I could save up to £500 on an alternative contract so will be willing to pay?
Any help would be gratefully recieved.
thanks
