Irn Bru cake

After limited success with my chocolate and coca cola cake, was wondering if anyone has a recipe for an Irn Bru cake?

Looking for a delicious but more unusual cake recipe for a baking competition we're having. Any ideas would be gratefully received!!

Heres mine, also have one for orange soda cake:j

Irn Bru Pound Cake

1 cake 1½ hours 10 min prep

4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon extract
6 ounces irn bru

Mix together first 4 ingredients

sift in flour

Blend in irn bru, vanilla and lemon extract

Bake at 180 for 1 hour and 10 minutes, Do not butter pan, Line with waxed paper.

Sorry I don't have a recipe for Irn Bru cake, but this one is a bit different and has been tried and tested by a few Old Stylers: Chocolate Beetroot Cake
