Right I have a quote with elephant and have had it for a while, it runs out on 5th march so I have to use it by then.
The quote is for £1300, with my sister as a named driver. I need to use this quote because if I refill in my details with elephant the price goes up!
Anyway, my sister hit into the back of some idiot who came out of nowhere! But apparently she still gets the blame for it.. She is still awaiting to hear from the insurance company telling her how much it will cost, i don't think much damage was done to the other car but still..
What can i do about putting her on my policy? I need to use it within 6 days but don't know how much her claim is yet...I put her on my policy with a £1500 claim and the price stays the same for me? So i'm not sure what to do....

You'll need to declare the "unresolved" claim. Sometimes you cannot do this online - you might HAVE to ring them and explain. Not all online quotation calculators will let you add an unrresolved claim. Try talking to the salesman and "think" about going to another company whilst adding your sister with her claim.0
