    Also thanks to everyone for all the info about the new cards, it's saved me a call to them after all:D

    I like the new card design but I can see it being a bit grubby after six months in a wallet/purse being white......

    Just to follow up on this one, I received my new Aqua card this morning, they didn't slip up and stick another 0 on the credit limit though:D
  • i got my new card today. i lost my old aqua card and got a replacement a week ago with the old design. i think i prefer the new design, but i expect it'll get grubby quickly

    Do not worry i got my card yesterday,its white with a picture of water running through it.still has the name aqua but in smaller writing .It will come probably by the end of this month the latest.Contact aqua,none of the details have changed really i.e same account number and card number,same contact numbers for aqua.same payment methods.
    my old card still worked in the machine as yet has not switched off but security code is different from old one.
    hold on it will be with you.i use mine perhaps every 3-4 months if i do not have money on the prepaid.

    Has anybody else got the same card number as their old blue card? Mine has a new card number, well the last four digits are different.

    When I rang up to activate it, they went through their procedure of taking card number, Name, DOB etc.
    They then welcomed me to Aqua and asked whether I want to set up a direct debit for automatic payment on the account.
    It was like they were welcoming a new customer.

    I told them I already had a direct debit setup to take the minimum payment on my old blue card and that I've had the account for 2 years now.
    The operator then said "oh, oh yes I can see that you have a direct debit setup already". I was treated as if I was a new customer.
    She ended with, we would like to welcome you to Aqua and please call if any problems.

    Oh yes

    I asked her about a credit limit increase and she said she could apply for one there and then.
    I asked her what type of check do they do to see if I could get a limit increase, soft or hard search".
    She said exact words "I don't know about whether it's soft or hard (thats what she said ;) literally) but the check is the same as if you where applying for the card. I thought it was an internal search based on you conduct of the account. Anyone else know about this?.

    Anyway I got another letter with the new card saying to check my direct debit details and if incorrect call up.
