Independent Gas Transporter Charges

Hi. I have just used the energy price comparison tool and switched my energy to nPower and made a saving of £190 per year. At the final moment when switching I got a message that my gas is supplied by an IGT and I will be charged a surcharge (no amount given).
Checking npowers website, it says that "If the M number shown on your bill is 10 digits long and begins with 74 through to 77, you are supplied by an IGT". My 10 digit long MPR number (same thing?) begins with 30. So I'm wondering does that mean I'm not on IGT supply?
My property is 25 years old, and I'm aware IGT is more common on new builds, which mine isn't.

I am considering moving to nPower. Can you please tell me what you charge per year for IGT charges?0 -
jamesl85, sounds like npower have probably gained the wrong supply number for your property, take the meter serial no off the gas meter and provide that to npower, they can then search xoserve to make sure if they're gaining correct gas supply or not.0
