Help Needed PPI claim for HSBC

Hi, I was hoping for some help with making a claim to HSBC for PPI.

I have had two loans with them over the years, both having PPi Insurance on them and also a gold credit card, I did not relaise that i was paying insurance on this card until recently and cancelled it straight away. I must have been paying this insurance for YEARS!!

Anyway I dont have details of my loans and i still have my credit card...

I have no idea how to start the claim back process and would be very grateful if someone would explain it to me as if i was a 2 year old ;-)

I assume it's in the first instance write HSBC a letter?

hi evileddie - I started me hsbc ppi hsbc claim 2 wks ago - I started off by phoning them - they confirmed yes i had been paying ppi on my gold c/card and that i didn't need to do anything and that they would start the claim for me...so ring them first as this may cut corners....keep me posted,

well i didn't know I had been paying PPi - so I just called and asked - they said yes and and asked if i was wanting to claim and they said ok well we will start the claim for you..simple as that - you must have a reason why you want to claim. hope this helps...
