PC world - on the 4th MP3 player (since 9th Dec)

I'm wondering if anyone has some advise.
My b/f had been in enquiring about MP3 players and the manager had shown him this one for £35, when he went the day after it was priced at £50 so we found the manager to check this was right and he gave us a discretionally discount of £15 to bring it back to £35
Great :T
This was on December 9th 2006
We got it home, wrapped it up as a gift and gave it to his older bro. It had a fault on it, it wouldn't switch on and we took it back for an exchange the same day.
MP3 player number 2 died on 14th Jan with a different fault, it said it needed at least 3mb free space to work which it did. Took that back they looked at it and got it exchanged.
MP3 player number 3 died on 19th Feb with the same problem as the first one.
My b/f took it back today and got it exchanged (again) we now have MP3 player number 4 .
This is getting very irritating as each time, we have to journey across to the other side of blackpool to have this replaced. Which is a waste of time and money. Not to mention how annoying it is to receive a present that insists on breaking down nearly every month!
When my b/f raised the unreliability of this MP3 player and the fact he'll probably be back again in a month to have it replaced which is wasting time and money the member of staff said to just bring it back again anyway, and its "not my fault you live so far away".
We don't blame him for us living so far away, but surely 4 MP3 players in just over 2 months is just getting ridiculous. He didn't get the staff members name (although he is sure he can find out) as after b/f had spoken to the staff member he was asked to get the MP3 player from the shop floor and when he returned he was directed by this member of staff to be served by somebody else, so his name isn't the one on the receipt.
Is it worth writing/emailing PC world about this MP3 player

What make is it?
I had a Creative Zen and had three in a short space of time before I exchanged it for an ipod."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

It was LOGIK 2GB
I have found a customer services email address from another post about PC world and have emailed them with my concerns over the "reliability and durability" of one of the products sold in their stores.
I have enquired about either it being replaced with a different brand (there were others at 2GB but they were more expensive) or vouchers to compensate for the constant inconvienence.:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

But it isn't PC Worlds fault why should they provide vouchers?0 -
Zinger 549 That helps!
I googled LOGIK and DSG and found many people have had problems with these MP3 players ranging from freezing, not turning on, needing reformating....
In fact 4 in just over two months is starting to look good!:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

I had the Logik 2gb, bought originally when it was reduced to £29.95 in September, back up to £50 in October, back down in November and up again in december. I have now had 5 of these and yes PC world were just as rude to me. I have actually given up now and I was bought the Goodman's PVD for £59.95 so am using that for everything. Moral of the story is if the unit fails twice - refuse another replacement !0
