Got an email from Quidco today saying my claim for cashback from the Post Office Credit card had been approved. Now I just have to wait for it to go to 'confirmed' and then for Quidco to pay me:)Weight loss 0/2st

:wall::wall::wall::wall:WARNING!! : Early morning moaning post!!
I've wrote this messege out twice now and then decided not to postso here goes!
I try not to let money troubles get me down, my thinking is most people i know are struggling so its quite normal to be in some sort of debt.
I read a post on the DFW board yesterday and it set me thinking.
My debt is i cant get out of my overdraft, i cant remember the last time i didnt owe it at least £700. I manage to go all out and pay a couple of hundred quid into it now and again, but then something crops up and i have to dip into it againand im back to square 1.
My car has started playing up, my brother had a look over it and has told me i need new brake pads and discs, not a massively expensive job, but i just dont have the money to get it done ( unless i hit the overdraft again )
I've been really trying with surveys again, you all seem to do pretty well on them but i always get screened out, my life must be too average!
I can't hit on the bingo bonus band wagon, for those who don't know im an Ex complusive gambler, so although a lot of you are doing well on that front i can't go there
Seems the only way i can make extra money is by selling stuff on Ebay, and i dont have much left to sell
Im looking for Jobs everyday but im not qualified for anything and have no experiance of any either, my last employment was self employed slimming world consultant and before that i was a SAHM. Even cleaning jobs they want someone with experiance.
I havent got a clue how i could make a CV look any good
I have got the 2 nights a week at MrTs but thats only temp.
You can see why i was reluctant to post, MOAN MOAN MOAN :rotfl:
Sorry to come across so negative, Im just fed up with not getting anywhere, its like a game of snakes and ladders!
Right..off to grab a coffee and get my thinking cap on for a new action plan!!
Hope everyone else is in good spirits this morningBuild your own dreams ~ or someone will hire you to help build theirs

Thanks Aesop, currently putting all I can on ebay and registered on the survey sites yesterday so think I have to wait for an invite now. Always surprised by what sells on ebay and what doesn't! Have a lovely day everyone x0

am getting ready to take DS to nursery, but will be back later, have someone from netmums coming to look at something I am selling, hopefully she buys it, will then email you.0 -
Hugs to all that need them, especially Moneyspider and Sally x
Sometimes life is just rubbish and that's how it is. All you can do is eat chocolate and hope for the best
On another note... I was once looking for slippers for DD4 on ebay and came across some used granny slippers with the blurb talking about how they were not to be bought by any naughty boys or any cheeky boys, etc etc with a starting price of 99p. Maybe you could give that a go alongside the knickers Nat
Another shiny day for making money and almost at my first Swagbucks payout, so getting quite excited! :j0 -

With regards to your cv when you update it don't forget to add all the skills you gained as a SAHM. Organisation would be the main one along with budget control. You will have a lot of skills that employers want that you may not think about.

For your o/d - can you transfer it to a CC or open another account with an o/d too so that you can transfer money to it. I had 3 o/ds at my LBM but I found the only way I could really deal with them was to have them as a separate debt that I could pay towards. Just trying to spend less each month to get out of it just never seemed to work for me.
I have a cleaning job once a week - I do a friend of a friend's flat. I still do that one but at one point I was up to 3 through him telling his friends. Could you maybe try something like that? Then you would have the official 'experience' they are after? Does seem daft - who doesn't have experience of cleaning?! :rotfl:
Hugs again and hope things seem better soon xxxDebt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -
Huggggggs moneyspider!!!! Just read your post and can relate all too well - my overdraft(s) have been on a constant yoyo diet too for years and years
and this is the first time i have actually starting making real progress into clearing it - how? well i opened a basic account with nationwide with no overdraft facility and now use that as my main account and make payments off my other accounts. Might be worth a try!
Also if you are not on them already i would suggest you use superpoints, swagbucks, gifthulk, unique rewards, maximiles and ??? oh forgotten the name of the other one (will come back to me) all non survey sites you can earn cash from!
