  • Just thought I'd pop up for some comforting inspiration after scaring myself silly reading Martin's Facebk request for tx credit info. I think we could be in with a real shock real soon - everyone seems to be losing a lot of their tx credit money. I think we would go under without it. My OH has been in bed since 7pm in order to try and combat his depression over it all. :(

yes, I only work part time as cannot afford the nursery fees without help. If I worked full time, I would not have any money for food or bills as all my money would go on nursery fees. Waiting for the dreaded letter. If it arrives, and my money is cut, will have to give up work. Or find something working from home and DS can go for his fifteen free hours until September.

I think there will be a lot more unemployment, I for one will stay unemployed if they cut childcare help. It costs a grand a month for nursery alone and without help its pointless working.

Im going to reregister with Language Schools again and think I'll give up my huge bedroom with en suite, move into the small spare room, then get 4 students in at a time. £14 pp a night in peak season, £12 out of season. I became really friendly with one company so they may take me back on now, just waiting of fostering appeal results then I'll get on it.

£5 Sb came through. 'come on sausage' very funny but was your friend saying that to his ladyfriend or his little sausage at the time?!! ;):D
    £20k in 2023 = £2718 £2023 in 2023 = £196.41 Grocery challenge £250= £195.80 **MONEY MAKES ME HAPPY**

Where in the rules does it say that we can't even mention referrals?
I'm like Fairy in that I know we can't post actual referrals, but don't see why or realise that we couldn't mention them.

Any referrals on any other forum boards will be removed when reported as will links to the Referrers Board from the main MoneySaving boards.
This also includes members saying "Please PM me for the code" or "check my post on the Referrers board". The overriding rule is that no advertising is allowed.

Seems a bit ott to me!!
Particularly as it's not like we're over run with referral stuff so does seem silly that we're not allowed to discuss things that everyone contributing to the thread is happy with.

Still haven't worked out what I need to add so will go and do some totting up now and report back later.

Going to try and get 10 Ebay listings ready to start in the evening today also. And tidy the coffee table - not money making but it's stressing me out how much clutter just attracts clutter, and it's a bit of a mountain at the mo :(
