anyone using taobao (chinese ebay)

ive stubled upon a chinese auction site that has something i need , its called taobao

anyway ...has anyone sussed how to use it , theres many "agents" willing to be a middle man when you google it , id sooner go direct if possible , if not whats the best agent to use thats honest and cheap , its only a low value item that i want

any comments /help welcome

I have just used taobaonow for an order, and so far so good. I did miss out on one item I wanted but I knew that I was in a race to get it so it was unlikely.

They were recommended to me. I'm just waiting for the items to arrive now.

From what I understand, the main thing is to be very very specific as there is still the language barrier there. In many cases if you ask they'll supply photographs which might be good to check that they have the specific item you require.
