Possibility of a claim do i have a chance?

Hi Everyone,
Very basic question which hopefully someone can answer please. About 10 years ago when i took out a mortgage i was told i had to have a cricitcal care policy which covered me for the full amount owing should anything happen. The policy is with Legal and General and the mortgage was with The Woolwich. Cost of the policy is £32 per month and is still running despite me now having a mortgage with the Halifax.
Do i have any chance of reclaiming the money?
Thanks

What grounds do you have for your complaint?
What evidence do you have?
The plan is not PPI and would have been put in place with factfind, needs analysis and report. Plus, it does not overlap with any other type of product or employer benefits. And finally it is monthly premium and not single premium. So, pretty much all the usual complaint reasons that succeed are eliminated.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). If it was sold by an IFA then it will almost certainly fall outside of FOS jurisdiction as well.0
