Yes, ours is about 75/30 in my favour. But our mutual friends will sit on 'his' side of the church. He doesn't mind!

My OH is from Albania and doesn't really get on with his family who all still live in Albania, and most of them don't speak English at all.

We might pay for his kid brother to fly over to the UK for the wedding (none of them could afford to come if we didn't pay for them) - he is closest to him and he does at least speak English, but other than that he will just have friends.

Even on the friends side of things, I have more friends, although the most of the ones I plan to invite are ones he now knows too.

Last summer I went to a friend's wedding in Ireland - her husband is a kiwi. She had a huge family presence at the wedding, partly due to location (it was in the town she grew up in), partly due to her family being much larger. So, when we turned up we just filled up her husband's side of the church. All of us knew him anyway, it was just for many of us we had met her first.
