areas... a friend is thinking of writing up about areas for schools within certain regions. What are people's thoughts on it? would it be something that would be of interest to any of you mums/dads? it could also be linked to a DVD.

    Only trouble is it would go out of date so quickly, wouldn't it? A school can change radically from one year to another, and unfortunately it takes forever to lose a no longer deserved poor reputation.

    Have to agree with savvy sue. Head teachers come and go and can change a school quickly. We have had a new head in our school this term and she has made many good changes. Your friend would probably be inudated with complaints from schools and parents about the comments they have made on particular schools. I think parents need to visit a school in the flesh and talk to other parents to get a true picture. You wouldnt get that from a book? Sorry if its not what your friend wants to hear. :confused: just my opinion.
