Blue Planet Aquarium - Carers Go Free, BUT....

Carers go free at the Blue Planet aquarium in Ellesmere Port, but only if they have written proof that they are a carer - even a child in a wheelchair does not allow a free carer pass. It is mentioned on their website in the link below. I thought I would post, as people might want to visit later in the year, and I don't know any carers that carry a DWP letter around with them (although BPA does say that they will also accept an ID badge or a signed letter from an employer highlighting carer status). Personally, I could only offer a DWP letter as I don't have paid employment.

Without this proof, full admission charges apply, and it isn't cheap!

I think that is fair enough, it means that the policy can be applied equally to those with visible and non visible conditions.
