  • we are not looking at the moment no. We want to get the sale of ours out of the way - were selling it on a no chain as we have somewhere we are going to live FOC for a few months after we sell ours which will enable us to lesiurly find the right house for us and not rush in to buy because someone wants ours and also save us a few thousand (even though its FOC we will put away what we in effect spend now).

Oh well, your experience has upped my confidence a bit lol so onwards and upwards hey!

Well if you're chain free, you need this stipulated in the particulars as this should be a nice selling point.

Also, one other trick I did was to search righmove including all soldstc and under offer properties similar to ours in our area.
Then tally up the agents with the most sold and under offer properties. This should give you a rough idea on who's shifting the most properties similar to yours in your price band. Might be helpful on picking your second agent.

Anyway, good luck - hope it all works out ok....

When i first put my property on the market, - i had 2 viewings in 9 weeks.

I changed estate agents and had around 2-3 views PER DAY in the first week.

If you're not happy, - sack them. I found dual-agency worked well for me for sure, - & don't forget to negotiate a good rate - there's a shed load of agents out there, - you can afford to be picky IMO
