Ford Focus Radio (not code related)

Hello

I wonder if someone might be able to assist at all?

My radio stopped working after an ignition turn-on earlier today.

I presumed it was a fuse, so gained access to the interior fuse box (located behind the glove box) and changed the fuse over (there were two listed as related to radio within the owners manual, so I checked each one separately), however, changing either one (one was a 15 and the other a 7.5 I believe) had the desired effect of allowing the radio to turn back on.

Does anyone know if the Focus has an in-line fuse (presumably behind the unit itself), or alternatively, could suggest anything I might look at as has stumped me :D (and Lord knows it doesn't take much nowadays :p)

if its the type where the security front pops off
take it on and off a few times
    this usually cures them

Thanks for the tip, I will look at lunchtime, but think it is the standard radio / CD (I think it is the 6000 but this may be incorrect), so I don't know if these have removable security front panels?
