Electrical certificate

[FONT="]Is it reasonable to expect an electrician to provide an electrical installation certificate or minor electrical installation works certificate to confirm their work complies with the requirements of BS 7671 after they've completed the work (in this case wiring in new bathroom lights and fitting an extractor fan)?
Many thanks

yes. A good electrician would supply certs and be part p registered
as it is in a bathroom then chances are the work is notifiable, unless they were like-for-like.0 -
My experience (two lots of work) is that the certificate comes through by post some time after the work was complete. I have no idea if that is usual.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0
