Swiss bank accounts

When i was a kid i always wanted to have a 'swiss bank account' and upon having a quick look now it seems much easier than i expected!

http://swiss-bank-accounts.com/e/index.html

Site looks a bit shabby mind you.

Has anyone got one, any feedback on them or positive sides to having one?

Honestly I have no idea why you'd want one. Its just like any other bank account you have back in the UK. Unless you recieve Swiss funds or have local business or deal on the Swiss market I really dont see the point. Maybe to have a CHF account but still....

You wont be able to open account with UBS or Credit Suisse or any of the kantonal banks without a decent chunk of change.
Postfinance may give you one without a massive deposit.

Still its just a bank account like any other you can get in the UK, trust me the novelty quickly wares off.

Plus an opening fee of around £700!? Ok, I longer want one!
